eyeglasses prescription v1

Hello
I am both a frontend developer and a student studying optometry.
I hope to run my own optical shop someday.
I also wear glasses when needed, so I’ve visited optical shops several times to get glasses fitted.
However, I had never received an eyeglass prescription. In fact, I didn’t even know such a thing existed before studying optometry.
After looking into a machine that showed something like a hot air balloon, putting on a strange frame and layering multiple small lenses, and checking if the small letters on the eye chart that weren’t visible to the naked eye could be seen clearly—that was all there was to it.
In Korea, you can often hear people say, 'My eyesight is minus.' How can eyesight be minus when there are no minus values on an eye chart?
I cautiously think that this might be because I didn't receive proper explanations when getting glasses fitted.
In fact, it's not easy to understand vision and eyeglasses just by verbal explanation. It would be much better to explain with drawings, but from an optician's perspective, drawing and explaining every time probably isn't easy. I also think that deciding how much to explain would be a consideration in itself.
So I created a simple website that intuitively shows information about the eyes and glasses based on the content entered from an eyeglass prescription.
This website was built using SvelteKit, TailwindCSS, DaisyUI, and D3
I thought about visualization methods and made it simple so that it can be understood even without knowledge of optometry. I also added simple explanations to help with understanding.
For longer explanations, I plan to write blog posts and link them to the visualization results of eyeglass prescriptions. You could think of it as a small blog related to optometry.
Printing is also possible. The eyeglass prescriptions generated on this site include a signature area and important notes. This can also be used as a protocol for eyeglass dispensing. Additionally, QR codes are included, allowing customers to access the visualization page of this site anytime through the QR code to check the contents. I think it would be good to print two copies, sign them, and then share one copy each.

The weather is very cold. I hope you stay healthy and have joyful days.
I hope this application is useful, and I'll end here.
